Jahrhundert. Nach Untersuchungen der Denkmalpflege kann der Dachstuhles auf das Jahr 1216 datiert werden. Damit ist die Keitumer Kirche der \u00e4lteste Sakralbau in Schleswig-Holstein. Er besteht aus rheinischem Sandstein, vermutlich aus der Bentheimer Region. Die zylindrische Kuppa ist mit einem Rankenornament versehen.
